Appllications are now open for the University of Southampton 2025 Engineering Global Talent Scholarship. Scholarships of £3,000 are available to students in their first year of study on an undergraduate or postgraduate taught programme within the School of Engineering.

The £3,000 off tuition fees is for the first year of study only.

Requirements for Engineering Global Talent Scholarship Qualification

You are eligible if you:

• Apply for a University of Southampton course before you apply for the scholarship
• Receive a course offer before the closing date
• Will pay the Overseas fee

Interview date, Process and Venue for Engineering Global Talent Scholarship

This is a competitive process and not all applications will be successful.    

There are 3 stages to the shortlisting process. 

1. We check that you meet the eligibility criteria.
2. We score your academic record and qualifications as stated on your UCAS or PGT application form.
3. The panel will decide who gets the scholarships.  The panel will consider your supporting statement, alongside your academic achievements to date.
4. We may also shortlist applicants from Least Developed Countries, Low Income or Lower Middle-Income countries. 

The decision of the scholarship panel is final. We do not offer feedback on our process.
