The Garden scholarship is open to PgCert Surgical Writing and Evidence Based Practice students or applicants who are nationals of, and residents of, countries defined as Low and Middle Income Countries.

Aim and Benefits of Garden scholarship

The Scholarship will cover full tuition fees towards the PG Certificate in Surgical Writing and Evidence Based Practice, or part thereof, depending on the number of credits needed to complete the Certificate.


Requirements for Garden scholarship Qualification

Please note that to be eligible for the fully-funded scholarship:

  1. Applicants must be current students on the Surgical Writing and Evidence Based Practice programme or have applied to the programme and at least hold a conditional offer. Instructions on completing an application to the programme can be found on the University’s degree finder page here  
  2. Applicants must be a national of, and resident of,  a country defined as a low and middle income country: https://wellcome.org/grant-funding/guidance/prepare-to-apply/low-and-middle-income-countries


Interview date, Process and Venue for Garden scholarship

Criteria

You will be asked to provide the following details:

  • Your personal details (name, residency, current post, current employer)
  • Your career objectives
  • Details of any degrees you hold or expect to hold
  • A personal statement of no more than 500 words
  • Any additional information you believe would enhance your application
