This scholarship, with a total award value of GBP 3,000.00, was established by an alumnus of LSHTM to honour Professor David Bradley, a member of staff at LSHTM in the 1980s.
The awards are available for MSc projects where the focus is on HIV, malaria, or Neglected Tropical Disease (NTD) research.
Founded in 1899 at the London Docks, LSHTM is now based in Bloomsbury, where it has two main sites at Keppel Street and Tavistock Place, and additional sites in The Gambia and Uganda. Successful candidates will be made awards of between GBP 500.00 and GBP 1,000.00.
This scholarship is open to applicants who are registered as a full-time intensive programme MSc student at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine.
Due to the source of funds, students applying for this funding must be from a low- to-middle income country. However, the country visited for the MSc project must not be the ‘home’ country of the scholar, and neither should the institution be that at which the scholar was working prior to becoming a student.
