The United States African Development Foundation (USADF), in partnership with the United States Department of State Africa Bureau, invite applications for the 2024 African Women Entrepreneurs Program-Reimagined grant. This is the second application cycle for this grant and only applicants from the following countries may apply: Namibia; Mauritania; Senegal; Cote d’Ivoire; Malawi; Uganda; and Zambia.
The U.S. African Development Foundation (USADF) is an independent U.S. government agency established by Congress to invest in African grassroots organizations, entrepreneurs and small and medium-sized enterprises. USADF's investments promote local economic development by increasing incomes, revenues and jobs, and creating pathways to prosperity for marginalized populations and underserved communities. Award worths USD$50,000 – USD$100,000 to each of the selected winners
Applicants must be woman-owned to be considered and 100% African-owned and managed; legally registered and operating in the country from which they make application, with basic functional management and financial controls for at least 3 years and banking history of no less than 12 months.
