The 2024 FCMB Hackathon and Venture Building Program is an initiative aimed at identifying and nurturing early-stage AgriTech businesses across Africa. The program features a hackathon where participants develop their ideas/solutions, followed by a venture building phase where selected teams receive funding, mentorship, and support to scale their solutions.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Stage of Idea: The business idea must be in the early stages of development.
• Team: Applicants should have a team with relevant skills in agriculture, technology, business development, and marketing.
• Passion for Agriculture: A strong passion for agriculture and a desire to impact the industry positively is required.
• Commitment: Applicants must be fully committed to participating in the program and developing their venture.
• Legal: The business must be legally registered as a business name or limited company; individual teams of hackers can also apply.
