The EFCC invites students from secondary and tertiary institutions across Nigeria to participate in the second edition of its essay competition. This competition encourages students to think critically and propose innovative solutions to social and environmental issues through technology.
The competition targets both secondary and tertiary institution students, offering a total cash prize of N1.4 million for the best essay entries.
About Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC)
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission is a Nigerian law enforcement agency that investigates financial crimes such as advance fee fraud and money laundering. Requirements for EFCC Essay Competition Qualification
- Be Nigerian citizens.
- Be enrolled in a secondary or tertiary institution in Nigeria.
- Tertiary Category: Submit an essay of about 1,500 words on how digital skills can be used to promote transparency in governance, focusing on originality and logical presentation.
- Secondary Category: Submit an essay of about 1,000 words on alternatives to cybercrimes, assessing the clarity and feasibility of suggested solutions.
Note:
- AI-assisted entries will be disqualified.
- Children and wards of EFCC personnel are not eligible to participate.
