About Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU)
A wide range of graduate programs leading to Master's and Doctor of Philosophy degrees are offered coordinated and administered by the Institute of Graduate Studies and Research at EMU. EMU Graduate Programs Scholarship
Aim and Benefits of EMU Graduate Programs Scholarship
- Tuition Coverage: 100% or 50% tuition coverage, depending on the program and eligibility.
- Research Assistantship: Students with a 100% scholarship are appointed as ‘Category E Research Assistants’ and are expected to work at least 6 hours per week at academic or administrative units.
- Also, students with a 50% scholarship are not assigned as Category E Research Assistants but can be part-time research assistants, choosing between the assistantship and the scholarship.
Requirements for EMU Graduate Programs Scholarship Qualification
- First-time Enrollment: Students must enroll in their respective programs for the first time. Students who terminate or are dismissed from their registration and re-apply are not eligible.
- Application Period: Applications are open twice a year during the online program application for Fall and Spring semesters.
- Students are eligible for 100% and 50% of the scholarship
- Graduate with a minimum CGPA of 3.00 (out of 4.00) or equivalent from an undergraduate program.
- Graduate with a CGPA between 2.75 – 2.99 (out of 4.00) or equivalent and have a relevant ALES score of 65 or higher (for Turkish citizens).
- Or have a minimum CGPA of 3.50 out of 4.00 or equivalent from a Graduate (Master’s) Program
