Call for Applications: ONE Champions Africa Program 2024

Apply to join the 2024-25 ONE Champions programme in Africa. This two-year volunteer programme is ideal for young people aged 18-35 years old, who are passionate about doing more to end extreme poverty and preventable diseases everywhere, want to develop skills in advocacy and understanding of development finance, and are keen to join a global network of people speaking out for global justice.

ONE Champions Africa Program

Aim and Benefits of ONE Champions Africa Program

• Each Champion will receive in-depth training, as well as dedicated support from ONE’s expert team.
• All you need is initiative and a passion to join ONE in ending extreme poverty and preventable disease.

Requirements for ONE Champions Africa Program Qualification

ONE is looking for young leaders who are:

• 18-35 years old
• Interested in global affairs and development finance
• Can demonstrate their ability to mobilize groups and communities
• Keen to gain experience in advocacy, media and policy.
• Have 2-4 hours per week to commit to the program
• Interested in developing communication and teamwork skills
• African citizen and resident in one of the eligible countries: Nigeria, Senegal, Kenya, Ethiopia,Tanzania, Rwanda, DRC, Ghana, South Africa, Zambia, and Egypt

• Before you apply, please read our ONE Champions information sheet and FAQ for more details about the program.
• To apply, please complete the form by the end of Sunday, 24th March 2024.
• ONE campaign will only accept applications from African citizens currently residing in the eligible African countries they intend to serve for the duration of the program.
