Applications are now open for the Allan Gray Makers 2025 Entrepreneurship Inter-College Competition for South African Students. The aim of the Inter-College competition is to foster a culture of entrepreneurship in TVET students. Registration is open to students who are enrolled at any of the 50 Public TVET Colleges in South Africa for the 2025 academic year.

About Allan Gray Makers

The seed of the Allan Gray Makers programme was first planted in 2018 when the trustees’ ideas about entrepreneurship in Africa gravitated towards technical and vocational trades. At that time, an intervention in the vocation space did not exist in any of the Gray entities and so the Allan Gray Makers programme was born as a pilot project. Requirements for Entrepreneurship Inter-College Competition Qualification

• The competition is open to students registered at any of the 50 public TVET colleges in South Africa.
• Entrants must own at least 50% of the business they are submitting for the competition.

Interested and qualified? Go to Allan Gray Makers on register.intercollege.co.za to apply

The competition consists of an easy online application form. The application process will be followed by three rounds: College internal rounds, regional rounds, and a national grand finale in September 2025.

• You will receive a confirmation email with the details you need to log in to your account.
• Complete the entry form. You can return to the form at a later stage if you need extra time to complete it.
• Once you have completed the form and are happy with your answers, click SUBMIT!
• You will receive an email confirming your submission.
