Alida School is an online coding school. We train our students to become software developers in just 12 weeks.
Currently the majority of our applicants and students are from English speaking African countries, we believe the reason for this is the language barrier.
In order to foster geographical, linguistic and cultural diversity and live up to our mission to train the next generation of African technical talent we decided to launch in September of 2021 the Amilcar Cabral Scholarship.
In the space of one week we received dozens of applications from Cape-Verde, Angola and Guinea-Bissau. After conducting the interviews we awarded two scholarships to two Angolan students.
Building up on this success, in December of 2021 we decided to create a new scholarship targeted at French speaking countries in Africa called Thomas Sankara Scholarship.
