About Akwa Ibom State Association of Nigeria Canada Calgary Chapter (AKSANC)

Founded in January 2010, AKSANC unites and connects Akwa Ibom indigenes in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Akwa Ibom State Association of Nigeria Canada Calgary Chapter is a non-profit and non-political organization established to support and unite the Akwa Ibom community members residing in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. AKSANC Scholarship Program

Requirements for AKSANC Scholarship Program Qualification

• Applicants must be indigenes of Akwa Ibom
• Applicants must be enrolled in a public institution of higher learning anywhere in Nigeria.
• Applicants must be undergraduate students.
• Applicant must be registered for the semester the scholarship is granted.
• Applicant must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 undergraduate or a High School GPA of 3.5 (on a 5.0 scale) for first-year undergraduates.

Documents Required for Application

• A certificate of origin
• The most recent school year Transcript by undergraduate students or admission letter for 1st-year undergraduate Students only.
